After an interesting weekend of swinging emotions; Mommy at Disney for the Princess 1/2 marathon run, Coleman at a soccer tournament in Tampa, McKenzie relaxing by camp fire with Taylor for her birthday, and Ed having to work extra due to the fact it was daylight savings, we are all getting ready for another weekend at Disney.
The 13.1 mile run at Disney will be one to remember. A mixed feeling of accomplishment, drive, determination and a little sorrow hit my heart. I didn't have my "team mate" with me and just the simple fact that it is over, that it came and went so quickly brings a little sadness. The one day for "my" competition was over in 2 hours and 24 minutes. Now it's time to go back to the dedication I see in my children's eyes and back to being Mom, not the athlete that I would love to be.
Disney will see the SMILING faces of the Bryant's this wekend for McKenzie's National Cheerleading Cometition! Go Rock Solid and Rock my little "CHEER-FACE"!
